The asking price for the 23-year-old who was linked to Tottenham in the summer has been set by Chelsea.

Chelsea has already established an asking price for Conor Gallagher, who they intend to sell during the January transfer window.
Although the 23-year-old is viewed as a disposable asset, it is unclear if any team would make a move for him when the transfer window opens next month. Ben Jacobs claims that Tottenham was eager to get the player during the summer transfer window and was willing to pay about £35 million for him.
Tottenham may choose to rekindle their interest in the midfield player, but Chelsea is now requesting a price tag of between £45 and £50 million for the player.
Spurs require greater quality and depth in the midfield, particularly in light of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s rumored departure. They will also lose Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma when they depart for Africa Cup of Nations duty and play for their respective countries.

Gallagher might work out well as an addition. The 23-year-old might have an instant impact at the London club because he is a seasoned Premier League player. In the middle of the park, he will provide defensive cover, drive, and pressing abilities.
Gallagher might be a key player for Tottenham for the next ten years, so even though the stated asking price is high, he could well be worth the investment.
