At season’s conclusion, the Premier League manager will “100%” quit.
Roy Hodgson, manager of Crystal Palace, will undoubtedly depart the team at the end of the current campaign.
Football Insider has received information from sources indicating that Hodgson’s stay at the Premier League team is about to expire. When his contract ends at the end of the 2023–24 season, he will 100% leave the club.
According to the source, there is presently a rush to replace the legendary manager.
Regarding his position at the club and when it will expire, the 76-year-old has been in the press nonstop.
After Palace defeated Brentford 3-1 on Saturday, Hodgson responded to rumours about his future.
He said: “I’ll tell you what I really think. I’m 76 years of age. I’ve been working for 47 years. I’ve got a CBE for my services to football and I’ve got a CV which is incredible. [Speculation] makes no difference. It isn’t of any interest to me at all and to suggest that it should be is disrespectful.”

In the 2022–2023 season, Hodgson succeeded Patrick Vieira as Palace’s manager.
After 12 games without a victory, former manager Vieira was fired from the team. After taking his post, Hodgson won five of the final ten games to ensure the team’s Premier League safety.
Although Palace is presently six points above the relegation zone, the club’s executives may have to fire Hodgson before the season is out if they see another decline in performance in the coming weeks.
