Mason Greenwood received his first red card of the season as Getafe lost 2-0 to Rayo Vallecano, having three players sent off.

Within the opening 38 minutes of the intense match, there were four bookings—two for each team.

Referee Jorge Figueroa Vasquez issued a second yellow card to Getafe attacker Juanmi Latasa on minute forty, which was seventeen minutes after he had received his first ticket.

Then, two minutes after the half ended, Sergio Camello scored his first goal of the game to give Vallecano the lead. He then added another just two minutes later.

Then, at the 50-minute mark, Greenwood, a Manchester United loanee, received a straight red card for what appeared to be disobedience, though it’s unclear exactly what the protest involved.
