Any new players joining Liverpool now that they are leading the league must make an immediate impact in order to assist the Reds win another premier league championship, this time with capacity crowds.

If the team want to maintain its present level of success, it must also pursue future captures with diligence.

Even though Jurgen Klopp’s team hasn’t yet won any trophies in 2023–24, they are playing well in the Carabao Cup and facing tough competition in the Premier League.

Even though there is still a lot of football to be played, the Reds are now leading the pack.

One player that former Reds ace, Didi Hamann, told Boyle Sports (h/t Liverpool ECHO) that Liverpool should be keeping tabs on is Xavi Simons.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is currently plying his trade on loan at RB Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, if the Reds were indeed thinking of bringing the Dutchman to Anfield at some point, they’re destined for disappointment

This is according to Fichajes’ report that Nasser Al-Khelaifi will not entertain the idea of letting the player leave the team at the end of the current campaign, either permanently or on loan.

Consequently, if Liverpool wishes to strengthen their midfield options, they must focus their efforts elsewhere.
