Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the new minority owner in Manchester United, may be hoping to bring in Crystal Palace player Michael Olise as a significant first signing for the team.

The gifted 22-year-old has shown promise at Palace recently, so it seems natural that there are now transfer speculations indicating he may be finalising a significant departure.

The Evening Standard reports that Man Utd hopes to sign Olise as their first player of the Ratcliffe era, but this transaction might not go through until the summer.

The Red Devils could need an attacking addition of this kind, as Antony has failed greatly since joining from Ajax and Jadon Sancho is likely to return on loan to Borussia Dortmund in January.

Michael olise to Manchester United??

It’s unclear if United will be able to sign Olise, who may also draw interest from other teams. Champions League football is probably going to be important for Olise and his future.

Although MUFC is now not expected to place in the top four, Olise may find the team appealing for his next step in his career because they are still one of the biggest brands in football globally.
