Man United makes a crucial choice regarding the 27-cap international star
With Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, possibly more than ever, Man United has to perform well on the pitch.
Since the Scot left in 2013, the Red Devils have had some success, but not quite as much as they did during the Sir Alex era.
That time frame has, in a way, been a millstone around the necks of everyone who has attempted to right the ship since.
Generally speaking, no one who has taken over has been able to bring back the golden days. However, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe poised to take over as the next manager of the football department at Old Trafford, anything less than the greatest will no longer do.
For the benefit of the team, United must make decisive decisions in order to get their house in order both on and off the pitch.
At the very least, one player whose future is still up in the air will have his contract with the team extended.
