According to reports, Kylian Mbappe has promised to forfeit a sizable sum of money should he choose to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

The 25-year-old recently declared that he will not extend his PSG contract, which ends at the conclusion of current year.

Mbappe is now free to sign a pre-contract with any European club, despite being linked to a move to Real Madrid for what seems like forever.

Following PSG’s 2-0 victory against Toulouse in the French Super Cup on Wednesday night, he was questioned regarding his contract status.

Ben Jacobs reports that Mbappe has consented to give up as much as 80 million dollars should he choose to leave the Parc des Princes unpaid.

A portion of the loyalty incentive has already been renounced by the France captain. If he chooses to continue at PSG, he will be eligible for the full amount.

Premier League teams, like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool, have been connected to Mbappe; they are free to negotiate with him.

As to the French publication Le Parisien, Liverpool is considered ‘the most credible and dangerous candidate’ to capture Mbappe.

Real Madrid, the dominant team in Spain, would probably oppose any move to recruit Mbappe.

Karim Benzema left for Al Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League, so they are currently permanently without a senior centre forward in their lineup.

Although Jude Bellingham, who has 17 goals this season, accounts for the most of their goal scoring, Joselu joined on loan from Espanyol during the transfer window.
