A star at Arsenal is pushed to quit the team and go with Manchester United in January.

According to former Premier League goalie Mark Schwarzer, Aaron Ramsdale of Arsenal ought to join Manchester United this month after leaving the team.

Regarding whether Erik ten Hag will try to sign Ramsdale from Arsenal, the former Chelsea goalie has also voiced his thoughts.

Schwarzer thinks that the player and the team will gain from his move to Manchester United.

Since Brentford acquired David Raya in the summer, Ramsdale has been a substitute for the majority of Arsenal’s season.

Mikel Arteta feels that the Spanish custodian is a better ball distributor than Ramsdale, and the England international has taken a backseat to him.

In Schwarzer’s opinion, the goalie for Arsenal is a superior player that Andre Onana.

“But where else is there for Ramsdale if he didn’t go to Chelsea? Another great option for him, in my opinion, would be Manchester United.

“I think he’s far better than Andre Onana, but Erik ten Hag definitely doesn’t think that way, as he’s probably going to continue with his summer signing considering how much he’s supported him thus far at Old Trafford.

Manchester United might probably benefit from Ramsdale, but I believe their priorities are elsewhere.”

Andre Onana has struggled at Manchester United, consistently making blunders in both the Champions League and the Premier League.

Fans and former players have criticised the Cameroon international goalkeeper’s performance this season.

The former Ajax custodian will miss the next four to five weeks of United action to represent his country at the AFCON.
