In January, Mauricio Pochettino acknowledges that he “can’t guarantee” that a Chelsea player will remain with the team.

Conor Gallagher’s future has been discussed by Mauricio Pochettino, as there are rumours of many teams showing interest in the English midfield player.

Many did not think Gallagher would be a regular starter under Pochettino, given the club’s summer signings of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, as well as the much-anticipated arrival of Christopher Nkunku.

However, the English midfielder has outperformed many supporters and is maybe the finest player for the Blues thus far in the current season.

Other teams have taken notice of this, particularly Tottenham, who are rumoured to be interested in signing Gallagher this month.

Pochettino first stated that the midfield player is “happy here” in response to a question regarding his possible future at the team, but he then acknowledged that he couldn’t make any guarantees.
“Look, there’s no way I’ll be here tomorrow!” Different things can happen in football. He stated this to the Daily Mail during his press conference on Friday.
Decisions are made by both the player and the club. The club or the player alone can make a guarantee. With a year and a half left, the player is more valuable than the club.
Chelsea is anticipated to have a highly active transfer window as they attempt to address their current injury crisis through both possible outgoings and incomings.
