The possibility that Thomas Partey would leave Arsenal in the forthcoming January transfer window is being fuelled by persistent claims. The most recent rumours suggest that the Ghanaian midfielder is a winter transfer target for Al-Ettifaq and Al Ahli, two Saudi Arabian teams.

Al-Ettifaq and Al Ahli are both very interested in getting Thomas Partey for their teams, according to Tuttojuve. The midfield player might leave Arsenal for one of these Saudi teams, with a £35 million transfer cost being mentioned.

With just four Premier League appearances this season—the most recent being a cameo in Arsenal’s 1-0 triumph against Manchester City—Thomas Partey’s small position at Arsenal is evident. Even though you have a gifted player, you still have to figure out how to use him, which is made harder by the £200,000 weekly salary.

Unfortunately, it appears that Partey’s time at Arsenal is drawing to an end. Last summer, Charles Watts made hints that Arsenal would be happy to let him go for the appropriate price. £35 million in the winter seems like a reasonable price for him to leave.

With players like Douglas Luiz or Ruben Neves to bolster the central midfield and a notable striker like Ivan Toney or Dusan Vlahovic, Arsenal may find value in this transfer cost in their pursuit of more important additions.

In addition to the two Saudi teams’ interest, Thomas Partey is apparently being watched by Juventus. All things considered, the signs strongly imply that the former midfield player for Atletico Madrid is about to leave Arsenal.

The circumstances surrounding Partey’s possible exit highlight the complex world of transfers as teams carefully arrange their rosters to maximise results.
