It was Erling Haaland’s finest season to date. The forward won the FA Cup, Premier League, and Champions League in his first season at Manchester City in addition to scoring 52 goals. He is the clear favourite to take home the Ballon d’Or and earn the Golden Boot.
The Norwegian striker is regarded as the finest in the world, and manager Pep Guardiola has helped him develop his skill. However, recent developments have alarmed Manchester City supporters and club managers.
José Álvarez, a journalist, attended Manchester City player Aymeric Laporte’s wedding. Erling Haaland, the Norwegian with whom he shared a home, informed him during their meeting that he had declined to play for FC Barcelona due to the club’s financial difficulties.
In addition, José Álvarez questioned Erling Haaland if he wants to join with Real Madrid and the Norwegian did not answer him, but the Central Defence site stated that the Norwegian’s agent Rafaela Pimienta continues to speak with Florentino Pérez.
In this transfer window, Real Madrid is keen to sign Kylian Mbappe, but if the Frenchman turns down the White House, Florentino Pérez is prepared to sign Erling Haaland in 2024, provided the Norwegian does not revoke his Manchester City exit clause for the following season.
