Real Madrid has moved first to capture Manchester City target, worth £86 million.

Real Madrid has been in contact with Alphonso Davies, a Manchester City transfer target, as doubts over the Canadian’s future at Bayern Munich mount.
Journalist Graeme Bailey claims that Pep Guardiola is interested in signing Davies from Bayern Munich in order to bolster his team’s left-back position.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Real Madrid contacted Davies swiftly in an attempt to lure him to Santiago Bernabeu.
The Canadian international’s agent is rumoured to be in daily touch with the Spanish giants, who have reportedly even persuaded the defender not to sign a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
Even without Real Madrid’s help, talks for a new contract were stymied, as Davies’ current deal at the Allianz Arena expires in June 2025. It’s unclear what his future holds at the German champions.

According to Plettenburg’s report, the left-back is content where he is at the moment in Germany, but a summer transfer outside of the team is not completely out of the question.
Davies has made 23 appearances for Bayern Munich this season and has three assists to his credit.
Man City needs to act fast or else they run the risk of losing the 23-year-old defender to La Liga rival Real Madrid.
The Premier League team has been lacking a natural left-back for a while. Sure, Pep Guardiola has played some pretty bad defenders in that position, and they have performed admirably, but having a true left-back can significantly improve City’s play and performance.
