Man Utd is planning a January blockbuster deal as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to replace Anthony Martial for £86 million.

Spanish rumours claim that Manchester United is considering a replacement for Anthony Martial that would cost £86 million.
The Frenchman’s nine-year tenure at Old Trafford will come to an end when his contract with United expires in the summer of 2020 and is unlikely to be renewed.
Arriving full of promise, Martial scored his first goal off the bench against bitter rivals Liverpool in 2015 to instantly become popular.
Despite having a contract that included a prize for winning the Ballon d’Or when he arrived in Manchester as the most expensive teenager in the world, he has ultimately fallen short of expectations.
United is currently preparing a move to replace him, and winger Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao is reportedly on their radar, according to reports in Spain.

The 21-year-old, who recently inked a new contract that runs until 2028, is a graduate of the renowned youth setup at the Basque club.
This has deterred United, though, and the Red Devils may now make a substantial offer of £86 million to entice the star to the Premier League.
Before United can spend such a large amount of money to sign Williams, they must first sell. The team, which spent a lot of money on Rasmus Hojlund and Mason Mount in the summer, is apparently at the brink of the Premier League’s financial fair play regulations.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s impending entry as a new investor would undoubtedly aid their cause, but unless they sell players and make money, an expensive transfer for Williams in January will be difficult.
One of them is Jadon Sancho, who had a falling out with manager Erik ten Hag and was put on the transfer list in addition to being frozen out of the first team.
United will be eager to offload him as soon as possible, but it’s more probable that Saudi clubs will hold off on spending big money until the summer.
Ten Hag will therefore probably have to settle for the players he has available right now.
