Real Madrid’s Unexpected Choice: Napoli’s Victor Osimhen Preferred over Kylian Mbappé

Football Transfers rumours indicate that senior Real Madrid figures are increasingly of the opinion that the team should concentrate on Napoli striker Victor Osimhen rather than Kylian Mbappé. This shift in viewpoint is mostly the result of the drawn-out and intricate Mbappé trade discussions.

Although Kylian Mbappé is regarded as one of the most promising young players in world football and has long been a target for Real Madrid, signing him has proven to be a difficult endeavour. Difficulties in the negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain have included complicated contracts and hefty transfer fees.
Given these difficulties, some influential Real Madrid members are supposedly pushing for a different strategy and focusing on Victor Osimhen of Napoli. The Nigerian international Osimhen has demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess while playing in Serie A.

The idea to go after Osimhen rather than Mbappé is probably based on the perception that the Nigerian striker may be easier for Real Madrid to acquire financially and through transfer discussions. Furthermore, Osimhen’s possible arrival may offer Real Madrid a workable answer to their offensive requirements as well as a simpler transaction to finalise.
It’s crucial to remember that these rumours are the opinion of someone in the Real Madrid leadership and may not signify a clear change in the team’s transfer policy. Real Madrid is notorious for pursuing elite players, and even though the Mbappé trade could provide difficulties, the team will probably continue to be interested in the sensational French player.
As with any transfer rumors, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold and which direction Real Madrid will ultimately take in their pursuit of attacking reinforcements.
