MAN UTD ADD SHOCKING NEW NAME TO MANAGER SHORTLIST AS POSSIBLE ERIK TEN HAG REPLACEMENT

Manchester United have reportedly included a new candidate in their list of potential managers should they decide to dismiss Erik ten Hag.

Reports suggest that Manchester United have expanded their list of potential managers to replace Erik ten Hag. The current United manager is under mounting pressure at Old Trafford, with the team eliminated from the UEFA Champions League and trailing nine points behind the top four in the Premier League. Additionally, INEOS’ recent partial takeover of the club raises the possibility that the former Ajax manager could be replaced as soon as this summer.

According to The Telegraph, Thomas Tuchel, currently in charge of Bayern Munich, is the latest name to be considered by Manchester United’s hierarchy. Tuchel has achieved success during his stints in England, notably guiding Chelsea to Champions League victory in 2021 before moving on to Bayern Munich, where he has made a promising start.

Manchester United’s recent struggles in the Premier League, winning just one of their last six matches, coupled with ongoing issues surrounding first-team players, have intensified the need for potential managerial changes. One notable development is the loaning of Jadon Sancho to Borussia Dortmund earlier this month, following unresolved disputes with Erik ten Hag.

Marcus Rashford was also recently spotted in Northern Ireland on a night out, reportedly just 24 hours before team training.
