Chelsea ‘frustrated’ with wife of senior player after she refuses to delete cryptic social media post

Reports suggest that Chelsea are feeling frustrated with the wife of a senior player after she declined to remove a cryptic social media post. This season has been a disappointing one for Chelsea, currently occupying the 11th position in the Premier League standings. Despite significant investments in players like Moises Caicedo, Nicolas Jackson, and Cole Palmer, manager Mauricio Pochettino has been unable to achieve the anticipated results.

Following Chelsea’s 4-2 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, Thiago Silva’s wife, Belle, expressed her discontent on social media. She posted, “It’s time to change. If you wait any longer, it will be too late.” According to The Telegraph, this message has not been well-received by figures within the club. It is suggested that Mrs. Silva was vocal during Graham Potter’s tenure as the manager of Chelsea.

The recent message from Belle Silva, regardless of its interpretation, is believed to have caused frustration as it remained posted without deletion. Mauricio Pochettino expressed his disappointment after the match, stating, “I am so disappointed, we need to change this feeling, and I apologise to the fans. I say thank you to the fans who kept going to the end helping the team and supporting the team.”

The main problem was that we felt the pressure and the stress to win, to play well, to perform. We didn’t have time when Palmer scored to build our momentum in the game and to dominate and play easy and feel confident.”

Pochettino continued, stating, “The feeling after Liverpool was affecting the team so much. The easy things when we play in the build-up with possession became difficult and it was easy for them to counter our game with their energy.”

Chelsea’s next match is on Wednesday, where they will face Aston Villa in the FA Cup fourth-round replay.
