During Liverpool’s Premier League match against Luton Town, Jurgen Klopp was seen becoming enraged at the Liverpool supporters.

After Rob Edwards’ team took a 1-0 lead through 12 minutes of play thanks to a goal from Chiedozie Ogbene, Liverpool had a challenging first half against Luton.

In response, the Reds managed to muster 12 shots in the first half, but only three of them found the goal, leaving the Anfield supporters frustrated.

Such was the hostility in the ground prior of the break, Empire of the Kop alleged that Reds boss Klopp unleashed his displeasure at some fans behind the Main Stand who were berating Harvey Elliott for an overhit pass.

But the Reds did not waste any time in turning things around, as Virgil Van Dijk and Cody Gakpo scored two goals in the two minutes after the break.

After that, in the 70th and 90th minutes, Elliott scored a fourth goal, followed by a third from Luis Diaz.

Liverpool knew going into the game that a win would put them four points ahead of the Premier League standings, even with injuries to players like Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah.

Prior to the match, Klopp commented about Salah and Nunez’s respective absences, saying, “They couldn’t have played tonight.” We’ll find out from here who will return on Sunday, but for now it doesn’t matter.

Alisson Becker, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Dominik Szoboszlai, Stefan Bajcetic, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and winger Ben Doak are also out for the Reds due to knee injuries.

Due to Liverpool’s injury woes, Elliott joined Gakpo and Diaz in a front three.
