Piers Morgan slammed for ‘nasty’ comment about Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool win Carabao Cup

Fans have condemned Piers Morgan for remarks he made about Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool defeated Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final.
Virgil van Dijk’s header from a corner in the 118th minute gave Liverpool a 1-0 victory as extra time saw a more intense match between the two teams for the majority of the ninety minutes.
Another Van Dijk controversially sent off for offside earlier, and many thought Chelsea player Moises Caicedo was fortunate to escape at least a yellow card for a tackle that ended the game on Ryan Gravenberch.
With five players under the age of 21 still on the pitch at the end of the match, Klopp’s team was severely weakened by injuries.
However, everyone contributed to one of the most unforgettable cup final triumphs in Reds’ history; Klopp even referred to it as “the most special trophy I have ever won.”
So it should come as no surprise that the German manager was clearly upset during work hours. But Morgan, an Arsenal fan, called him out right away.
He stated: “If winning the Carabao Cup makes you cry, it’s definitely time to move on.”

Not surprise, Morgan’s remark did not sit well with Liverpool fans, nor with football fans from other clubs either.
Someone remarked, “There is absolutely no need to be nasty Piers, that is poor.”
Someone another stated: “Arsenal cannot even make it to the final, let alone win.”
“C’mon Piers, you know exactly why Klopp is all teary-eyed,” a third person clarified. The last leg for Klopp and Liverpool begins now. They’re off to a good start, and by the end of the season, it may be historic.”
“Let’s see how many Arteta wins by the end of the season,” a fourth person wrote.
“Best day of my life being at Wembley watching us win the League Cup,” remarked a fifth supporter, who had witnessed Birmingham win the League Cup at Wembley in 2011. Fans of the major teams take it for granted.”
