Jurgen Klopp has hinted that one Liverpool ace might’ve already played his last game under him

A depressing potential that one player of the current Liverpool team may never play under the German coach again has been alluded to by Jurgen Klopp.
The last three months of the 56-year-old’s tenure are currently in progress, and he will leave at the end of this season. One player may not be able to participate in the emotional last stretch of the season.
The Reds manager, speaking to the media this afternoon ahead of Wednesday night’s FA Cup encounter against Southampton (via Liverpool Echo), stated that “there is no timescale” on when Thiago Alcanatara might make a comeback from his lingering thigh injury.
When asked if the 32-year-old would return to action this season, Klopp said, “I’m not sure.” It isn’t as though he will be training in just two weeks. I’m at a loss for words.
Considering how talented a player Thiago is, it’s a terrible tragedy that his time at Liverpool seems to be coming to an anticlimactic end.
After being hurt in the last minutes of Arsenal’s match earlier this month, the 32-year-old had only recently returned from a nine-month absence. He collapsed again before Burnley’s next game, and it’s likely that we won’t see him wear a red shirt again.
His contract expires in the summer, and because the midfielder earns an incredible £200,000 a week (Capology), it seems unlikely that LFC will sign him to a new deal at this point in his career. He turns 33 in April.
It is our only hope that before Klopp bids us farewell for good in May, Thiago could be able to contribute in any way on the pitch for Liverpool. Considering how outstanding he was in his first few years at Anfield following his transfer from Bayern Munich in 2020, it would be what the Spaniard deserves
