The updated PFA Player of the year odds have stunned fans, Virgil van Dijk’s price has caused a real stir

The most recent PFA Player of the Year odds have sparked a lot of controversy on social media as supporters have taken issue with the pricing, particularly Virgil van Dijk’s
The Premier League is in its business end, and online odds for the PFA Player of the Year award have been revealed.
Arsenal is in third place in the league, while Liverpool leads Manchester City by one point at the top.
However, according to the odds, three players are ahead of the first Liverpool star in the race for PFA Player of the Year.
Declan Rice, Erling Haaland, and Rodri are all less expensive than Mohamed Salah.
With odds of 2/1, Rodri is the favourite of the bookies to win PFA Player of the Year, ahead of teammate Haaland, who is favoured at 9/4.
Rice’s odds are 9/2, which is the same as Salah’s (15 goals in the league). The next players on the list are Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, and Kevin De Bruyne; they are all rated higher than Van Dijk, who is available at a 25/1 price.

Van Dijk has been a standout player for Liverpool this year as he attempts to lead his team to yet another league victory.
This season, he’s found his best form again and has made outstanding performances at the back.
Nevertheless, admirers on the internet are in shock at Van Dijk’s chances of taking home the coveted individual trophy.
“De Bruyne has made four starts this season,” a user on X said.
“WHAT has KDB done to be ranked higher than VVD? He’s only started four games,” yelled the second person.
A third expressed disapproval, saying, “How is KDB ahead of Trent and VvD lmao.”
Another was added: “Like De Bruyne has played about 5 games this season and he is ahead of Van Dijk, that’s ludicrous stuff.”
Another said: “Rodri being 2/1 while VVD is 25/1 is absolutely mental.”
