CONFIRMED. Liverpool’s lineup to face Nottingham Forest is out

Nottingham Forest, led by Nuno Espirito Santo, is preparing for a matchup this Saturday at the City Ground against Liverpool, the recently crowned League Cup champions, and is looking for revenge after a crushing loss.

When they met again at Anfield in late October, Liverpool put on a strong show and won thanks to goals from Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah, and Diogo Jota. Jota’s confirmed injury has left the availability of these important players for the forthcoming match doubtful

Since the beginning of the year, Forest’s performance has been inconsistent, with one victory, one tie, and four defeats. After Everton’s reduced point deduction, their most recent 4-2 loss to Aston Villa has moved them up to 17th place, giving them a four-point buffer above the relegation zone.

Liverpool suffered a blow with their second Premier League defeat of February, but they quickly recovered, winning three straight games with multiple goals, including their victory against Chelsea in the League Cup final this past weekend

Liverpool leads second-place Manchester City by just one point going into the weekend, while Arsenal is two points behind. With Arsenal playing Sheffield United on Monday and City playing a pivotal match on Sunday, Liverpool is looking to build on their current position in the league table.
