LIVERPOOL
Liverpool join race to sign 22-year-old attacker, valued at £100m by his club
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger for Napoli, is being pursued by Premier League teams Liverpool and Chelsea in advance of the summer transfer season.
Kvaratskhelia is worth around £100 million to the Italian squad, and they might make a big profit alongside Victor Osimhen if they want to sell.
Many teams would be keen to acquire Kvaratskhelia, who has developed into one of Europe’s most intriguing talents in recent years, if Napoli were to sell.
According to Italian journalist Ciro Venerato, as published by Area Napoli, Liverpool and Chelsea are in the running to sign the Georgian star should he decide to leave the Serie A.
“At the moment, Kvara’s renewal is still in the air. De Laurentiis is promising him a huge income to delay his sale until 2025, but the player is unwilling to leave Napoli in favour of a slow-moving rise. He might potentially have a release clause included, just like Osimhen did. Major league teams like Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, and PSG are cited as following the number 77.
The 23-year-old has nine goals this season after scoring an amazing 12 goals in Serie A last year.
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, and other top teams in La Liga are apparently watching the player.
The Reds were worried as the previous summer transfer window drew to an end because Salah was constantly being connected to a move to Al-Ittihad. The Reds now understand that they might not be able to resist the Egyptian winger’s charms this summer after turning down a huge £150 million deal.
The 22-year-old is more comfortable on Salah’s opposite flank, on the left, but if the Reds get the opportunity to acquire the outstanding winger during the summer window, they must go all out to acquire him.
Having proven his mettle time and time again in Italy, he will now proceed to either La Liga or the Premier League.
