Jurgen Klopp ‘advises’ Liverpool to sign Premier League star this summer even though he won’t be at the club

After leaving the team in the summer, Jurgen Klopp has one more request for Liverpool: he wants the team to make one important signing.

After nine years as the team’s manager, Klopp surprised the football community when he announced he would be leaving at the end of the season.

Since replacing Brendan Rodgers in 2015, the German has practically become a permanent fixture at Anfield, and everyone at Liverpool will be sorely missing him.

The fact that Klopp can spot talent is one of his best qualities; Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, and Andy Robertson have all outperformed everyone at the club.

Because of this accomplishment, it has come to light that even if he departs the team at the conclusion of the season, Klopp might still have some influence over the players Liverpool targets in the transfer market.

According to TEAMtalk reports, Klopp thinks Liverpool should try to recruit Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Ait-Nouri’s contract expires in 2026, but Liverpool may run into trouble if they try to sign him because of a purported 50% sell-on clause from his previous team, Angers.

If the Wolves decide to sell the 22-year-old this summer, they will probably try to get as much money as they can for him, which will raise their asking price.

This season, Ait-Nouri has made 21 Premier League starts, scoring one goal and dishing out one assist.

This season, the 22-year-old defender has been playing left wing-back for Gary Oneil’s team, which oddly would match Xabi Alonso’s system. Alonso is reportedly Liverpool’s top managerial target. Perhaps Klopp has knowledge that we do not.

Although it is believed that Ait-Nouri is content at Wolves, Manchester United is apparently keeping an eye on his circumstances. However, a sizable offer would be sufficient to persuade the defender to make a change.
