Liverpool player’s transfer value is nearly 40 times bigger than one year ago

A top player for Liverpool’s first team has had an incredible increase in worth over the past year; their estimated transfer value has increased by an astounding 4000%.

It is well known that Jurgen Klopp develops talent, as nearly every player who joins his Liverpool team sees significant advancements in their own play.

Liverpool’s recent Carabao Cup victory, which they achieved despite fielding a relatively inexperienced eleven against Chelsea, perfectly reflected how much the Merseyside club will miss Klopp’s ability to nurture the club’s young potential.

Transfermarkt valued the 21-year-old at €400,000 in April of last year, but following a breakout season in which he made 20 appearances across all competitions, his projected value has increased to €15 million. That is about forty times what he was worth eleven months ago!

Endo, a more recent addition to Liverpool, is a better illustration of Klopp’s man management skills.

There were serious doubts when Klopp acquired the 30-year-old midfielder from Stuttgart in the summer about his ability to fill Fabinho’s void, but the Japanese international has excelled.
