Bayern Munich has confirmed the are ready to sell Alphonso Davies to Real Madrid
Alphonso Davies, the left-back for Bayern Munich, has reportedly stated that he would very much like to sign with Real Madrid in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a recent AS story.
According to reports, the Canadian international is eager to sign a contract to join Los Blancos later this year.
This season, while playing for Bayern Munich, Davies has displayed remarkable form in the Bundesliga. He has been a reliable member of the defence team, appearing in 31 games and providing three assists and one goal in all competitions
In the Bundesliga, Davies—who is well-known for his toughness on the field—has demonstrated strong defensive skills, averaging 1.7 tackles, 1.0 interceptions, 1.3 clearances, and 1.4 crucial passes every 90 minutes.
He has also demonstrated excellent dribbling abilities, finishing 2.8 dribbles on average each game. In premier football, he has an amazing 89.4% passing accuracy rate.
Given that his current contract is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2025, Davies may become available for a possible low-ball deal, which would allow Real Madrid to sign him during the next transfer window
Davies is well known for his hard-tackling approach and knack for making vital back-row interceptions. When it’s essential, he doesn’t hesitate to clear his lines, and he can make dangerous crosses into the opponent’s penalty area.
The Canadian left-back is also well-known for his quickness and dribbling ability, which allow him to go past the opposition’s defence and pose a threat to their attack down the wing
Although he has shown accuracy when shooting long range, he can still be more productive in the closing third of the game.
Davies’ acquisition to Real Madrid’s roster could prove to be quite advantageous as he has the ability to guarantee a regular starting position at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in the next campaigns.
Even at 23, Davies is anticipated to keep growing and improving as a football player, which makes him a desirable addition to Carlo Ancelotti’s team
It would be wise for Los Blancos to pursue Davies’ acquisition in the forthcoming transfer window, possibly strengthening their defensive lineup with the inclusion of the outstanding Canadian defender, given his aspirations to join Real Madrid and his excellent skill set.
