Liverpool set to ‘break club record’ and give biggest contract in history to key player

It appears that Liverpool is prepared to break their wage structure in order to secure a key player with a new contract. The report suggests that Trent Alexander-Arnold is flattered by the interest from Real Madrid but has expressed his desire to remain with his childhood club, Liverpool. Currently earning around £180,000-per-week at Anfield, Alexander-Arnold’s commitment to Liverpool contrasts with his rumored interest from Real Madrid. Mohamed Salah is currently the club’s highest earner, having signed a record-breaking deal in 2022.

Earlier in the season, Virgil van Dijk clarified his own future, stating that no decision has been made regarding his stay at Liverpool after Klopp’s departure.
