Sporting Lisbon has established their desired asking price for the in-form forward Viktor Gyokeres.

The 25-year-old has scored an impressive 35 goals in the Portuguese Primeira Liga this season, attracting interest from several European clubs.

Arsenal, Chelsea, and AC Milan are among the rumored suitors, indicating that the Sweden international is likely to seek a new destination this summer.

In addition to his impressive goal-scoring record, the former Coventry player has also provided 14 assists for Ruben Amorim’s team, which currently sits atop the Portuguese top flight.

According to the latest report from The Mirror, Sporting Lisbon will seek a fee in the range of £68.5 million during the summer transfer window.

Furthermore, with Sporting Lisbon advancing to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League, there remains a possibility that Gyokeres could end the season with three trophies to his credit.

While on international duty with Sweden, Gyokeres acknowledged that he would evaluate his future at the conclusion of the season, stating: “It’s a sign that I’ve performed well.”

“But I don’t take it too seriously, as it’s just speculation. However, it’s enjoyable. We’ll see what happens this summer. I’m not privy to any information about my future.

“I thoroughly enjoy my time at Sporting and am not stressed about the upcoming summer.

“It’s evident that my performances have garnered attention, but it’s not my main focus in everyday life.

“Nonetheless, it’s pleasing to have fans who appreciate my contributions.”

With Arsenal reportedly leading the race to secure Gyokeres’s signature, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta hinted that his team is prepared to act if the right opportunity arises.

“The plans we have for the summer are clear and were established almost at the beginning of the season, considering contract situations with certain players and how we can enhance certain areas of the team.

“This situation doesn’t alter our plans.”
