Liverpool fans have spotted what Darwin Nunez did on Instagram in unusual move

Darwin Nunez’s social media activity has got fans talking
Darwin Nunez’s recent activity on social media has sparked discussions among Liverpool fans.
On Sunday afternoon, Liverpool showcased an impressive performance, putting their recent poor form aside, with goals from Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo, and Harvey Elliott securing a 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield. Son Heung Min and Richarlison found the net for Spurs.
However, despite the team’s success, attention shifted to Nunez after the match. The Uruguayan forward, who was substituted on for Luis Diaz in the 75th minute, faced criticism for his underwhelming performance during his brief appearance.
On Sunday night, it came to notice that Nunez had removed all Liverpool-related pictures from his Instagram account. The 24-year-old, signed from Benfica in the summer of 2022, has struggled to find consistent form in front of goal and has often been criticized for missing significant opportunities.
In March, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised Nunez’s talent, stating that he possesses “quality coming out of his ears.”

Klopp added: “Is he at his absolute peak in general? Not now for us. But can he develop? Yes. Is he a threat all the time? Yes.”
Following their triumph against Spurs, Liverpool has solidified their position in third place in the Premier League standings.
Commenting on the win, Klopp remarked, “I’m impressed by the team’s performance today. I’m pleased with the individual displays and our collective effort – there were many positives. However, conceding two goals is a concern; Alisson isn’t pleased about that.”
“But it was a really good football game, and I think that’s what everybody should expect from us – results as well. We delivered both. And the moments, how I said, I think they are a little bit explainable, should not happen anyway, but didn’t count really today.”
