Chelsea fans have noticed Cole Palmer’s phone lock screen, and they are loving it. Palmer scored as Chelsea secured a 2-1 victory over Brighton on Wednesday, netting a stunning header to bring his Premier League goal tally for the season to 22.
His remarkable goal-scoring form has earned him a nomination for the Premier League’s Player of the Year. Additional individual awards, including the PFA awards voted on by players, offer a Player of the Year and a Young Player of the Year prize. Before Chelsea’s match at the Amex Stadium, fans on social media spotted that Palmer’s lock screen features the Player of the Year award.
They were quick to praise his mentality, believing he’s manifesting the achievement.

The nominees for this year’s PFA Player of the Year award have yet to be announced, with Erling Haaland winning the prestigious prize last year. In the past decade, notable winners have included Luis Suarez, Eden Hazard, Riyad Mahrez, N’Golo Kante, and Mohamed Salah. Virgil van Dijk and Kevin De Bruyne, who won it twice in a row, have also been honored, along with Salah again.
Cole Palmer is poised to be in contention for the 2023/24 PFA Player of the Year award following his stellar performances for Chelsea this season. He has recorded an impressive 22 goals and 10 assists, marking the best campaign of his burgeoning career.
