Press reports revealed today that Real Madrid’s first football team is monitoring a significant deal from the Bundesliga for the upcoming summer transfer period. Real Madrid seeks to strengthen its ranks with top European talent to continue competing for all titles and dominate local and European championships.

According to the German magazine “Sport Bild,” Real Madrid is looking to sign the young star Florian Wirtz in the summer of 2025 to replace Toni Kroos. The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder was instrumental in the team’s success this season, including winning the German League title and reaching the European League final.

“Sport Bild” noted that several clubs are interested in the 21-year-old, such as Arsenal and Manchester City in England, Bayern Munich in Germany, and Real Madrid. However, Wirtz wants to stay with his team for another year, play in the 2024 European Championship with Germany, and have his first Champions League experience before moving to Real Madrid.

“Contracting the young player will require no less than 150 million euros, and Wirtz also wants to join a team favored to win the biggest titles every season,” according to “Sport Bild.” Real Madrid officials believe Wirtz can replace Kroos, who will be 35 years old by then. Kroos’s contract with Real Madrid expires in a few weeks, but he has indicated his intention to renew with the club.
