The latest trade news from Arsenal reveals that Kylian Mbappe will soon be joining the team.

After playing his final game for Paris Saint-Germain, Mbappe announced that his new club would be revealed shortly. PSG defeated Lyon to win the Coupe de France on Saturday night, marking a triumphant end to the 25-year-old’s tenure in Paris.

Goals from Ousmane Dembele and Fabian Ruiz secured the victory for PSG, earning Mbappe his fifteenth trophy with the club. He played the entire match and had previously stated he would leave PSG when his contract expired. It was widely believed he would join Real Madrid as a free agent.

However, with no official confirmation yet, other clubs still hope to sign him. Earlier this year, Mikel Arteta hinted at Arsenal’s interest, saying, “Why not? If we want to be the best team, we are going to require the best talent and the best players, that is for sure.”

YouTube star iShowSpeed also suggested that Mbappe might reject Real Madrid in favor of Arsenal this summer. Mbappe explained his delay in announcing his new club: “Because I think that the ideal thing to do is conclude these goodbyes,” he said. “All I probably wanted was to do well with my club.” He promised to reveal his new club soon, stating, “When the time comes, I’ll tell you about my new club. That’s fine, I think we’re only a few days away.”

After the French Cup final, Mbappe attended the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, where Martin Brundle interviewed him on the grid. Brundle joked about Mbappe being faster than some of the cars, to which he replied, “No, no, I’m not faster than the cars!” expressing his desire to enjoy the event as a fan.

As no new information about his future has been disclosed, it is still expected that he will sign with Real Madrid before the 2024–25 season. The move might be announced after Real Madrid’s game against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final at Wembley next weekend.
