LIVERPOOL
Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has praised a Liverpool star, calling him the “best in the world” and stating that he has everything a player needs. Walker emphasized that this player is currently the best at Liverpool, noting that finding a replacement for him would be difficult due to his exceptional speed.
Manchester City defender Kyle Walker recently commended Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold for his remarkable passing ability, stating he has never witnessed anyone pass the ball like the 25-year-old.
Alexander-Arnold has significantly bolstered his reputation this season with consistently impressive performances. Under Jurgen Klopp, his role has evolved, allowing him to move into midfield and deliver precise passes.
On Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, Walker acknowledged Alexander-Arnold’s elevated game over the past months. “Trent is a quarterback at right-back. I’ve never seen anyone pass the ball like it,” Walker said. “Whether it’s left, right foot, a long pass, or a precise delivery, his ability is remarkable. Liverpool’s style, with its direct approach, benefits greatly from his passing.”
Walker also defended Alexander-Arnold against critics of his defensive skills, stating, “People criticize his defending, but everyone has areas to improve. He has significantly improved defensively, which comes with experience.”
Both Walker and Alexander-Arnold have been crucial for their respective clubs this season. Walker has made 38 appearances for Manchester City, contributing three assists, while Alexander-Arnold has scored two goals and provided 10 assists in 29 games for Liverpool.
