BREAKING NEWS: Johan Bakayoko to Liverpool Is done deal

Liverpool Considering Johan Bakayoko as Long-Term Replacement for Mo Salah
PSV Star Impresses Incoming Manager Arne Slot and Chief Scout Barry Hunter
Liverpool are reportedly eyeing Johan Bakayoko as a potential signing in the upcoming summer transfer window. According to Belgian football insider Sacha Tavolieri, the Reds have shown interest in the PSV winger since March 2023.
The 21-year-old Bakayoko has caught the attention of incoming manager Arne Slot and chief scout Barry Hunter with his standout performances in the Dutch Eredivisie. This season, he has contributed significantly, scoring and assisting in 28 goals across 48 games in all competitions.
Bakayoko’s style of play on the right wing, marked by his frequent incursions into the opponent’s box, mirrors that of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah. This has led to speculation that Bakayoko could be a long-term replacement for Salah, whose contract at Anfield expires in 2025.
With Salah likely to remain with Liverpool for another season, Bakayoko’s potential signing could provide a seamless transition for the future. At just 21, he could be persuaded that he will become Liverpool’s primary option on the right flank in the near future.
