Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany is seriously begging Erig Ten Hag to allow him sign Manchester United brilliant star on loan this Summer as he plans to use the player’s quality to play in the Champions League next season
Reports indicate that Bayern Munich has initiated talks to recruit a surprise player from Manchester United.
Bayern’s streak of 11 consecutive Bundesliga titles ended when Bayer Leverkusen claimed the championship after a disappointing season for the Bavarian team.
Bayern was also knocked out of the Champions League in the semifinals by Real Madrid, who went on to win the title by defeating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Vincent Kompany has been appointed as Thomas Tuchel’s replacement by Bayern, a decision announced before the end of the 2023–24 season.
Having been relegated from the Premier League with Burnley, the former Manchester City defender now joins Bayern, who will be eager to return to winning ways in the upcoming season.
Attention now shifts to potential summer signings, with reports emerging of a surprise bid for United captain Bruno Fernandes.
Barcelona of La Liga is also reportedly interested in Fernandes. Addressing ongoing departure rumors from Old Trafford, the player commented on his future.
“I’m staying here till…” He remarked, “I told the club they need to desire me.” “I believe it to be true; the club wants me to be involved in what is ahead. I don’t want to be a player the club doesn’t want, as I’ve always stated.
“I will leave the club if they don’t want me for any reason, but if they do, I will stay.”
The player is under contract with United until 2026, but the team has the option to extend it by one year.
