In a press conference earlier today, Real Madrid’s Rodrygo couldn’t help but praise his teammate Vinicius Junior, calling him the best teammate he’s ever had. The 23-year-old Brazilian winger has been pivotal to Madrid’s success this season, impressing Rodrygo with his incredible skills.
“He’s the best teammate I’ve ever had in my career,” Rodrygo said. “He used to tell me to pass to him every time, and it’s no wonder why – he’s been absolutely phenomenal this season!”
Rodrygo lauded Vinicius Junior’s speed, skill, and vision on the field, describing him as “the complete package” with “the pace of a cheetah, the skill of a magician, and the vision of a seasoned veteran.” He likened playing with Vinicius Junior to playing with a superhero, noting his ability to consistently outmaneuver defenders and create opportunities out of nothing.
Vinicius Junior’s impressive season, with over 20 goals and 10 assists, has made him one of La Liga’s standout players. Rodrygo advised young players to learn from Vinicius Junior, calling him a “once-in-a-generation talent” and expressing his gratitude for being able to play alongside him.
