The German manager departed Liverpool at the end of the season after nine years at the club. Although Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to return to coaching soon, his management team, Project MJK, has announced a partnership with global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE. They will act as SPORTFIVE’s commercial and marketing representative for the next three years, focusing on bolstering Klopp’s brand presence, especially in Asia and the US. This collaboration led to the launch of Klopp’s personal Instagram account, aiming to enhance his global reach.

Mike Jaggle, managing director of MJK, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting SPORTFIVE’s global infrastructure. Philipp Hasenbein, COO at SPORTFIVE, praised Klopp’s alignment with their values, while Ron Wiegand, senior VP at SPORTFIVE, emphasized their commitment to developing Klopp’s brand through social media, media collaborations, and commercial partnerships.

During his tenure at Liverpool, Klopp secured numerous titles, including a Premier League title, a Champions League crown, and several domestic and international cups. His Liverpool side set records during the title-winning 2019-20 season, underscoring his impact on the club.
