Reports from South America indicate that Liverpool is interested in acquiring young talent Dario Osorio from FC Midtjylland. According to La Tercera, the Reds are preparing a bid of $8m-$10m (£6.3m-£7.9m) for the 20-year-old winger, with an additional future percentage included in the deal.

Midtjylland’s deputy sporting director, Ove Pedersen, acknowledged the interest in Osorio but did not comment further on any potential bids. Osorio, who joined the Danish club from Chile last year, has made a significant impact in his first season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in 24 appearances. His ability to play on either wing has also earned him eight senior caps for Chile, and he is included in the provisional squad for the upcoming Copa America.

If Liverpool secures Osorio’s signature this summer, he is likely to be considered a squad option initially, with the possibility of a loan move to a major European league to aid his development. While Liverpool has been linked with numerous players ahead of the transfer window, Osorio’s acquisition may not be a top priority given the current depth in their forward options.

However, Osorio represents an intriguing and affordable prospect who has shown an ability to adapt well to European football. His signing could be a strategic move for the future, providing Liverpool with a talented young player who could develop into a key asset for the club.
