Initially, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City were also reportedly interested in Olise. Chelsea, in particular, were said to have made a financially competitive offer, but Olise chose the Bundesliga over the Blues.
Meanwhile, United still have unresolved issues on the right flank of Erik ten Hag’s attack. Alejandro Garnacho currently holds that position, though he prefers playing on the left wing.
Antony, his backup, has contributed 16 goals over two seasons, but he remains a divisive figure among fans. With Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood potentially on their way out, strengthening this area of the squad might become a priority.
