Real Madrid refuses to sign a contract with one of the Chelsea stars, by decision of Perez

Officials of the Spanish club Real Madrid, headed by Florentino Perez, declined to sign a contract with the Chelsea first-team star during the current summer transfer period of 2024. Real Madrid, under the leadership of President Florentino Pérez, aims to secure significant deals to strengthen the team’s roster, maintaining their dominance and winning European and world titles.
The Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that the Real Madrid club management refused to activate the clause to buy goalkeeper Kepa from Chelsea during the current summer transfer period of 2024. Kepa’s loan period with Real Madrid ended on June 30, 2024, and the goalkeeper has since returned to Chelsea.
The newspaper further explained that Chelsea demanded 25 million euros for a complete transfer of Kepa’s services, a fee that Real Madrid considered excessive and which Perez firmly rejected.
It is noteworthy that Real Madrid won the Champions League title for the 15th time in its history after defeating Borussia Dortmund with a score of two goals to nothing.
