According To Reports Personal Terms Have Been Agreed Just Waiting For Both Club To Reach Agreement. La Liga Shot-Stopper With 20 Clean Sheets This Season Agrees Personal Terms With Manchester United.

According to reports from Marca, Manchester United is keeping tabs on Alex Remiro, the goalkeeper from La Liga who has impressed with 20 clean sheets in 45 appearances this season.
Despite Remiro’s strong performances and interest from several top European clubs, Manchester United is unlikely to prioritize acquiring another first-choice goalkeeper at this juncture. The club already made a significant investment of £47.2 million in Andre Onana last July. While Onana has faced challenges, his presence has helped mitigate further issues for United.
Manchester United’s current challenges, including extensive injuries in defense, particularly among center-backs, highlight the pressing need to reinforce the central defensive position. This remains a priority in the club’s transfer plans for the upcoming summer window.
While Remiro may be considering a departure from Real Sociedad, a move to Manchester United seems improbable given the club’s focus on strengthening other areas. Manager Erik ten Hag faces scrutiny amid team shortcomings, although injuries to key players, including defenders, have also played a significant role in United’s struggles.
Overall, while comprehensive changes are needed at Old Trafford this summer, especially in defense, the goalkeeper position does not appear to be a primary target for replacement at this time.
