It seems Liverpool is eyeing a promising talent in Dario Osorio from FC Midtjylland, as reported by La Tercera. The Premier League club is reportedly preparing an offer ranging between $8 million and $10 million (£6.3 million to £7.9 million) for the 20-year-old winger, with a potential future percentage of any transfer fee.

Osorio, who joined FC Midtjylland from Chile last year, has had an impressive debut season in Denmark, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in 24 appearances. His versatility to play on either wing and his eight caps for the Chilean national team underscore his potential and adaptability.

While Liverpool’s interest in Osorio is confirmed, it’s likely that he would initially serve as a squad player or could be loaned out to gain more experience in a major European league. Given Liverpool’s current squad depth in forward positions, Osorio may not be their top priority in the upcoming transfer window, especially under the ownership of Fenway Sports Group (FSG).

Nevertheless, Osorio presents an intriguing option due to his successful transition to European football and his potential for future growth. Liverpool’s strategy of investing in young talents aligns well with Osorio’s profile, making him a sensible target for the club.

Osorio’s journey from Chile to Denmark has seen significant progress, attracting not just Liverpool’s attention but also interest from other clubs. His goal-scoring ability, versatility, and international experience make him a valuable asset for any team aiming to strengthen their attacking options.
