The 27-year-old forward in La Liga is hesitant to leave Barcelona during this transfer window, but circumstances might force him to reconsider.

Newcastle United plans to back Eddie Howe this summer, aiming to enhance their roster with key signings after injuries and missing out on Champions League qualification last season. Howe seeks to strengthen his team’s defense, strikers, and wide players.

Newcastle is actively looking to sign players to replace Callum Wilson and Miguel Almiron this summer. Raphinha, who became a fan favorite at Leeds United and attracted interest from top clubs for his Premier League performances, is now a target. The Brazilian international joined Barcelona for £55 million but could be sold to fund new acquisitions.

Despite being pushed to the left wing by the emergence of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha prefers the right. Barcelona aims to monetize Raphinha to afford a new signing.

For Newcastle, acquiring Raphinha would bring creativity and goals, complementing Alexander Isak up front and adding firepower to their attack. Pairing Anthony Gordon on the left with Raphinha on the right would provide the Magpies with plenty of pace and inventiveness on both wings.

Raphinha’s proven Premier League success makes him a valuable addition for Newcastle, potentially helping them reach new heights in the upcoming season.
