Manchester United secured their third significant signing this morning, with the Inoes eager to replace Leny Yoro.
The third significant signing for Manchester United this summer is nearing completion as the player he will replace, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, has verbally agreed to personal terms with West Ham. Manchester United have already secured Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee this window, but Yoro has a broken metatarsal that will keep him out for two to three months. Zirkzee, on the other hand, will be thrust into action due to fellow striker Rasmus Hojlund’s hamstring issue, which will sideline him for about six weeks. Manchester United are aiming to add at least three more new players and are now at the stage where they must offload players before making further additions. One such player is right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The 26-year-old is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, and Manchester United are willing to sell him. A proposed swap deal involving Wan-Bissaka and Denzel Dumfries at Inter Milan was considered, but Dumfries is now expected to sign a four-year extension at the San Siro. Instead, a transfer within the Premier League is likely for Wan-Bissaka, with West Ham being the most probable destination. According to Sky Germany, West Ham and Wan-Bissaka have verbally agreed on personal terms for a five-year contract until 2029. This is the first step towards finalizing a deal, and discussions regarding the transfer fee are in progress. Manchester United value the right-back between £15m-£18m. West Ham initially offered £10m, which Manchester United did not accept. However, negotiations continue, and the expectation is that the two clubs will reach an agreement. Assuming Wan-Bissaka leaves for London, Manchester United have already identified his replacement – Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.
