Manchester City is reportedly considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) young attacker, Bradley Barcola, as a potential replacement for Julian Alvarez. With Alvarez likely to join Atletico Madrid soon, City manager Pep Guardiola is evaluating his options to fill the gap left by the Argentine forward’s departure.

Alvarez has been a valuable player for City, contributing 36 goals and 18 assists in 103 appearances. Replacing his output will be challenging, but Guardiola seems to be eyeing Barcola, a promising talent at PSG, as a potential solution.

Barcola, who has been attracting attention for his performances, is reportedly highly regarded by Guardiola. Though still young, his skill set and potential make him an intriguing candidate to step into Alvarez’s role at Manchester City. Should City decide to pursue Barcola, it would signal their continued focus on bringing in youthful talent to maintain their competitive edge.

As the situation develops, it will be interesting to see whether Manchester City formalizes their interest in Barcola and how this potential move could reshape their attacking options moving forward.
