**Marcus Rashford’s Return to Form and Praise from Teammates**

Manchester United has been focusing on getting the best out of their key players, with Marcus Rashford being a particular priority. Rashford began to show signs of meeting these expectations during his standout performance in the 3-2 pre-season victory over Real Betis. He played for over an hour, displaying energy and sharpness before exiting the field due to a late tackle. However, he was seen in good spirits afterward, which is a positive sign for manager Erik ten Hag, who is keen to see Rashford regain his confidence, especially by scoring goals, even from penalties.

Rashford’s Resurgence

In recent seasons, Rashford has faced criticism for his body language, with some observing a lack of confidence or determination in his play. However, United expert Andy Mitten mentioned earlier this week that he has been hearing encouraging reports about Rashford’s form this pre-season, something he hasn’t encountered since 2022. MUTV pundit Danny Webber also shared his observations from a training session during United’s USA tour, where Rashford’s form was particularly impressive.

Webber said, “He was on fire yesterday. Watching his finishing, we noticed how well he strikes the ball—effortlessly, with minimal backlift. His one-on-one situations were remarkable, easily beating his opponents. This comes from a strong mentality, from a desire to succeed, and from being willing to make mistakes, which ultimately leads to improvement. He just needs to carry this confidence into the games. We all know he has immense talent, and we want to see him enjoying himself on the pitch again.”

**Praise from a Teammate**

Harry Amass, a 17-year-old who played alongside Rashford against Real Betis, described him as ‘unbelievable’ in a post-match interview. Amass, who is aiming to step in for Luke Shaw this season amid uncertainties surrounding Tyrell Malacia, relished the chance to play alongside Rashford. However, with Rashford possibly being rested as a precaution against Liverpool, Amass may find himself partnering with a different player on the left side in the next game.
