FC Barcelona Rejects $270 Million Bid For Thier Star Boy Lamine Yamal from Premier league Club
Prior to the ongoing European Championship, FC Barcelona declined a $270 million (€250 million) offer, which would have set a new record for a transfer fee. This was reported by the Spanish news agency EFE, citing unnamed sources within the Catalan club.
Lamine’s remarkable goal for Spain against France in the tournament’s semifinals on Tuesday has made him a sensation across the continent.
Kolo Muani scored with a header to give Les Bleus the lead in the eighth minute, but Kylian Mbappe’s team was defeated after MVP Lamine equalized in the 21st minute, and Dani Olmo secured Spain’s 2-1 victory, which they held onto until the final whistle.
After the 2017 events that led to Neymar’s departure from FC Barcelona, the 16-year-old is now under contract with a $1.082 billion (€1 billion) release clause.
