Liverpool’s pursuit of Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia seems to be gaining momentum. Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that personal terms between the player and Liverpool have been agreed upon, but negotiations between the clubs are still ongoing. The anticipated transfer fee for the 22-year-old stands at around €30 million, with Mamardashvili under contract with Valencia until 2027.
Mamardashvili has had an impressive season, keeping 12 clean sheets in 32 matches and showcasing his skills during Euro 2024, where he made 30 saves, nearly matching the record set by Igor Akinfeev. His rising market value and performances have made him one of the most sought-after goalkeepers.
