Barcelona has had a quiet start to this summer’s transfer window, with only three significant departures so far: Marc Guiu to Chelsea, Sergiño Dest to PSV, and Marcos Alonso, who left following the expiration of his contract. Due to the return of La Liga’s 1:1 financial rule, the club has yet to make any signings.

However, Barcelona is looking to end their drought in the transfer market, with reports from *Sport* indicating that negotiations for Dani Olmo and Nico Williams are progressing well. It’s anticipated that one of these deals could be finalized by the end of next week, with Williams currently leading the race.

Talks regarding personal terms are ongoing, and Barcelona is prepared to trigger Williams’ release clause once an agreement is reached. Additionally, a proposal has been submitted to Olmo’s representatives.

Despite Barcelona’s ambition to secure at least one of these players, their ongoing financial difficulties remain a significant obstacle, compounded by the return of La Liga’s 1:1 rule.
