The 25-year-old seemed visibly displeased about being taken off and distanced himself from the rest of the bench upon leaving the pitch.
Shortly after, his manager approached him, appearing to exchange stern words with the England international.
The conversation’s content remained unclear, as Alexander-Arnold covered his mouth while responding. Even after Slot returned to the dugout, the player remained visibly upset, watching the match with his arms crossed.
