🔥🏟️Liverpool fans are convinced they’ve worked out deadline day transfer move as another flight tracked

Liverpool fans think they have worked out who the club’s transfer target is on deadline day.
After a largely quiet summer transfer window, Liverpool’s activities came to life over the past couple of weeks.
The Anfield club sealed a deal to sign Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili earlier in the week, with the Georgian set to join ahead of the 25/26 season.
On Thursday afternoon, it was confirmed that Juventus winger Federico Chiesa has also made a move to Liverpool, in a deal worth a reported fee of £12.5 million.
With just hours left of the transfer window, eagle-eyed Reds fans think the club’s next target is FC Porto midfielder Alan Varela.
On social media, a screenshot showing details of a private jet leaving Liverpool for Porto emerged, sending the Reds fanbase into orbit.
One fan said: “ALAN VARELA COME TO LFC.”
Another fan added: “Transfer window in full flow especially when we getting rumours by plane tracking.”
A third fan added: “€65m release clause for Alan Varela. Just pay it.”

However, those rumours were quickly squashed by The Athletic journalist James Pearce, who wrote: “Liverpool are not planning a late move for Porto’s Alan Varela.”
Varela, 23, came through the ranks at Argentine club Boca Juniors before moving to Portuguese side Porto in 2023.
Since then, the midfielder has made 46 appearances for the club, scoring twice.

After signing Chiesa, manager Arne Slot said: “We are really happy to bring Federico to Liverpool. I don’t think anyone will need me to tell them about his quality because it has been very clear for a number of years in both club football and international football.
“Federico is at a really good age. He brings experience and talent, but at the same time he brings the potential to keep on getting better and this is something that really excites us.”
He added: “I have said all summer that it is not easy to sign players for Liverpool because the standard of players we have is so high but in Federico I firmly believe we are signing someone who enhances what is already here.
“It’s not just his talents physically; Federico has experience of winning trophies, of course one with his national team, and dealing with setbacks and challenges. It’s the mentality we want here at Liverpool.”
